All Natural Candles – 3 Options For A Better Planet

0

Many people are deciding to make the switch from the standard paraffin candles to all natural candles such as soy candles, beeswax candles or palm wax candles. All Natural Candles – A Necessary Choice

Over the last 20 years, people have become increasingly aware of the need to take care of their earth. People are doing this by being more conscientious about the products they use that have an effect on the environment. One of the major culprits allegedly responsible for global warming, or climate change as it is called these days, is petroleum and petroleum based products such as paraffin candles.

Black Rose Bath: Tropical Tuberose Soy Candle

0

Soy candles are better for the environment because they burn cleaner and longer and are also natural. Soy is also a renewable resource, as well as a sustainable resource to the environment, whereas paraffin contains petroleum and emits toxins into the air that damages our lungs. Soy candles alaso have a burn time of 24-36 hours

Why Burn Soy Wax Candles Vs Other Types of Waxes?

0

I have been reading a lot of different articles about soy wax and find that there appears to be quite the debate about the wax. Some say it is better for the environment, others say it is no different than burning other waxes. I burnt my first soy candle a few weeks ago and I found it to burn very slow and it did not leave a soot residue on the jar that holds it, so in my eyes, that is good enough for me.

Soy is the best choice when it comes to candle burning. Soy burns cleaner, slower and has a better aroma. Soy wax is a better choice for the environment too!
